Open your life to God – or return to your first passionate love for God
The biggest miracle of all is to ask Jesus to forgive all your sins – believing that He has already done so by taking on Himself the penalty of that sin – which we deserve due to our selfishness and bad judgment calls. So, the good message of Jesus is: Let yourself be reconciled to God. You cannot undo the unloving unjust things you have said or done against God, people, and yourself by doing loving just things.
So, we need to die, like a seed in the ground, to the idea that we can fix it by ourselves through doing enough good to cover the bad. The good message is: When God looks at you, He already loves you and has already forgiven you and cleansed all injustice and lack of love away from you – for Jesus has already ensured your sin is atoned for (paid for) forever. All your sin, shame, guilt, condemnation, and rebellion was laid on Him. So, you are already always loved because of what Jesus did on the cross – where He took the death on Him that our injustice and selfishness causes.
The requirement now just is that you need to decide to receive His forgiveness, love, reconciliation, restoration, and grace – for free. When you do – you will be born-again on the inside – by the Holy Spirit – who comes to live inside you. That is the biggest of all miracles, bigger than someone rising from the dead or someone miraculously getting a brand new arm or eye – that we receive the adoption as sons and daughters of God – and we become best friends with the Friend of Friends – our dear Daddyo, God the Father, and Jesus, our brother, and the Holy Spirit – our guide, advocate, comforter, and Spirit of truth.
How do you experience the biggest miracle of all? You can pray this prayer and mean it with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength:
Dear Jesus. I turn away from all rebellion against your goodness. I ask for your forgiveness for all unloving and unjust and impure things I have done. I choose to believe you are alive. I choose to receive your forgiveness for all I have done wrong. And I choose to make you my Master, my Leader, my King, and my very best, highest, first Friend of all friends. I commit to giving you everything in my life – and to submit all areas of my life to your love, justice, and truth. I will follow you and submit to you the rest of my life. You lived and died wholeheartedly for me – so I will live and die wholeheartedly for you.
If you have just prayed that prayer with all of your heart to Jesus – congratulations! He has heard you – and He has accepted you as His child, forgiving you, and coming to live inside you by His Spirit. That is the most important decision you have ever made. If you meant it – that is true no matter if you feel a difference or not. Christianity is not first emotional – but based on truth above feelings – but feelings may come later.
Now it is important that you invest in getting to know your Best Friend – His will, His ways, His likes, His dislikes – and His family. Jesus calls you to abandon all each day and trust Him. Jesus calls you to live intimately with Him – and from that foundation only – to then outlive His will, His life, His honor, holiness, truth, passion, justice, love, care on earth – even though there will be trials, storms, opposition, injustice, and persecution against you. This is what He did. We now live like Him and follow Him in this world.

Get the fire back for God – for He is on fire for you!
To get back the purity, faith, fire, and passion of your first love for Jesus. Learn to seek God intimately as your best Friend. If you have left your first passionate fire and first love for God and you are living in compromise, excuses, and sin. If you are living in disobedience to His love, justice, and holiness – then turn around to Him. Receive His forgiveness. Receive His love. Do what you need to do to get your life in order. Cry out with your whole heart – giving yourself completely to Him – just like He gave Himself 100% for you on the cross and through the rejection and suffering He took for your sin – and the sins of everyone.
How to “turn yourself in” to God again?
- The first and best step is to take total ownership of your decision to sin – realizing – sin is completely evil and is rebellion against the pure goodness, love, and justice of God.
- Secondly, ask Him for mercy, grace, and compassion. Cry out with all your heart for help!
- Turn away from all your sin completely. This is your decision. If you ask God for help – He will help you. But you must proactively choose to ask, and choose to be humble, soft-hearted, and obedient when He lovingly and clearly corrects and helps you do right.
- Turn TO Him. Run TO Him. The best thing is: He is waiting on you to do this. He will not force you! He honors you and your decisions that much.
- Decide to acknowledge now and forever, past, present, and future – as a continuous mental state – that you are loved and best friends with the Father through the blood of Jesus only.
- Forgive who you need to forgive. Stop being in fellowship with those you need to cut out who cause you to sin.
- Daily Spend Quality Time With The Father. Be in fellowship with other believers. Fill yourself with the love of God and challenging input.
- Seek to expose the roots of false interpretation of the events in your life that accuse the goodness of God – and accuse the demons, the free will of humans, and the fallen state of the world for the injustices done to you – not the heart of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Get freedom session of inner healing, repentance, and spiritual freedom to do a thorough deep cleansing from trauma, bad theology, blindness to sin, and demonic spirits.
